I feel like all I do is talk about snow days and winter here, haha. Well, we are yet again off of school and this time we REALLY do have snow! Whoo! The snow looks super pretty as I look out the window from my cozy, warm apartment. That's the extent of my interaction with this bout of snow. :)
There are times when I think to myself, "Is it normal for a teacher to be THIS excited about snow days?" and then I see things like this on Pinterest and think "Nahh, I'm good..."
Bwahaha!
For an absolutely hysterically funny take on stages of a snow day for teachers, you MUST check out this blog post from Tire Swings and Fireflies!
And I promise, one of these days I will write about something non-winter or snow-day related. One of these days... ;) :)

Two weeks ago we had a 2 hour delay the second day back after a 2 week Christmas break because they thought the roads were going to be icy. tomorrow we actually have a snow day (our first this year)!! SO EXCITED to sleep in!
Snow days sound like such fun, but that is only because I have never had one, I did however have a few days when it was pissing down rain and looked black outside so I let my girls have the day off school, because I couldn't be bothered to take them to school.......aka.........I overslept.......lol
My husband loves snow days and spends them the same way he did when he was a student--playing video games. Though sometimes he comments about how it messes up his lesson plans.
