We are in the midst of yet another crazy winter here in Virginia.
This winter has been filled with snowy days that should have had cancellations and didn't, icy days with lots of slipping and sliding, days that were a tiny bit snowy and icy but still had schools closed AND days where the temperature was well below zero and schools were cold because of hypothermia and frostbite concerns.

Whew! That's a lot of crazy events! We've had many weeks that have been in and out of school, but despite that, my sweet class of first graders are doing SO well!
This weekend brought about 6-8 more inches of snow which normally is a cause for celebration but I hate when it snows over the weekends and cancels fun plans. :( Plus cabin fever is setting in and I'm feeling a little stir-crazy. But at least there are fuzzy socks, haha...

Yeah this weather is nuts!!! I am so over this winter!!! I got stuck at work on saturday due to the snow we got... But glad sunday was warmer to melt some of it.. haha
